1. Shakeit. The iphone app turns your photos into Polaroids instantly. It also makes the cool Polaroid noise. Plus it’s only a dollar.
2. Tim Burton. I wish I could go to New York to see this exhibit at the Moma.
3. Date night with Blair. I think we are going to laurelhurst market for dinner and drinks. It is a rare occasion that we both have the same time off!
4. Knitting!! Cool weather always makes me want to knit. All the sudden my languishing projects are seeming much more interesting!!!
I am without my film camera still. Nothing makes me want to shoot bucketloads of expired film like not having my camera. I think I may have to fire up my old plastic cameras and get rolling again.
I have been flossing. My dental hygenist was pleased. Have I ever mentioned teeth are a reoccurring theme in my nightmares and also in my paintings? I haven’t been making many painting/photo type things lately. I have been knitting like a mad women.
I won a little steam cleaner from work today. It will be awesome for blocking my knitting.

I am going to California for two days in October for the tiki crawl. I don’t think I will have time to do much else. I am also going to be out in Novemeber for my Grandpa’s 80 birthday. I am going to get to see all my family in one swoop. It will be nice but overwhelming.
Did I ever mention I am stopping drinking? Well only kind off. B made me a drink out of ice cream and it had a weird lime aftertaste. I drank it all though. Homemade ice cream is awesome.
Reading (totally cheesy summer reading!) I did just buy the twilight series since the libraries copies had over 200 holds on each book. While I was at it I also pre ordered the new one. I have other literary interests too, but cheesy vampires are winning right now.

Things here are back to normal. My foot is trying to fall off. It goes along with Li’s face and neck having the plague. It is making me limp around. I finally got around to brewing my kombucha today. I hope that I did it ok. I am so impatient so I may have not waited for the tea to cool enough. I was pleased to see that the scoby had made two scoby babies!! They are weird and slimy. It will be about eight days till I can try it. I am just worried I will kill it. I have been getting new music from the new gal at work and I am trying to make her be my friend. I think it is working. Once music is exchanged it means they think you are cool right? I haven’t been reading much since I got back. We switched our bedroom in to what was once B’s office and it looks great. It is like living in a scoop of mint chip ice cream. I want to redecorate but can’t since we are way over budget the last couple months. I can walk around the room and not hurt myself. I consider that success.
I got more yarn for the secret present I am making li and judar but have not been working on her giant scarf. (sorry!) I also made a square for the baby blanket we are making for our coworker. It is ok but not as cool as if I would have remembered sooner. Yup I am ready for the weekend and it is Tuesday, but my weekend starts on Thurs. so that isn’t too far. Still not sure about the fourth. I am thinking about staying in since the dogs totally freak out.
I have some sort of evil cold that is kicking my butt. It figures that I have fun weekend planned and I feel like poop. I am surviving on Coke Zero and dayquil. Also Kleenex and cough drops. I figure at least since I am not hungry my dress may fit me a little better! Always a bright side right? Off to Olympia for B’s cousin’s wedding tomorrow. We are driving up with his parents and may take the train back, I am not quite sure of the plan yet. I am going to bring a film camera to the wedding crazy right?
I have broken two of my Denise cord needles lately. I am frustrated with them but I still feel the urge to replace them I heard the connectors got better since I got my set.
I am stoked someone can cover my shift so I can attend my cousins high school graduation party. I am over working Saturdays. I am thinking of moving on to something else. Aren’t I always?
That is what I am feeling lately. I have hardly any nice things to say about anything. Well I take that back, the fetching gloves I am making for my sister are turning out quite nice. Or should I say they would be if I could manage to make the second one. I am so easily annoyed at everything, work, B, the house, the pets. I think I may just have burrow in a hole until the dogwoods start to bloom. I did finally get to a template I like for this journal. I am sure the 3 people reading it will like it! I am actually fine with the smallness. It makes me feel secret more like a paper journal that someone has left on the ground or something. Yes I know you are never alone on the internets.
I am such a hermit. I know that in order to feel better I have to get out of the house and it is so hard for me! I am dreaming of summer and trips to the river and most of all warm sunshine. It is almost to the point of the year where I can’t imagine being warm outside ever again. We have had a break from gray for almost two whole days! I have been busy working on my sisters b’day present. I am making her something as well as knitting something for her.
Shame on me, I haven’t even finished my mondo beyondo yet. I guess I will make my deadline Sat.
I am waffling on what to do for my birthday. I think we are going to dinner, but should we bowl? Rollerskate? Play wii bowl? I have all day Saturday off and I feel like I should do something epic. Does Screen Door count as epic? mmm chicken and waffles+bloody mary=perfection.
Really that is my major talent. Things I should be doing now but aren’t…

What I want to do is finish knitting my legwarmers. MMM clownbarf acrylic best yarn ever. I was also told by my dearest sister that she lost the knitted cowl I made her for chrisukkah so I have picked out a yarn that goes with both her brown coat and her burgandy purse.
I am going to make banana choco muffins on Friday I hope they turn out delish.
I have bookmaking from 6-9 I am very excited, it’s the simple things really. I am learning some simple things to make. I have already made a little book and sent it to Claire. That makes me happy. I will be able to make books by myself! I just need to practice.
His stuff is very interesting.
I rang in the new years with my chosen family while knitting and watching the incredibles. The next day was spent watching all three of the LotR movies. I fully support that becoming a yearly tradition.
I am probably the only person who has never heard Coldplay’s album so I was very excited to see it at the library. I also got mary timony and lisa germano. I love the library. I also got Courtney Love’s published journal. It’s like a train wreck I had to see.
